Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 28, 2026

1. Who we are

AISRi is an AI-powered endurance coaching platform operated by AKURA INFRA("AISRi", "we", "us", or "our"). Our data representative is Coach Kura Balendar Sathyamoorthy. Contact us at kura@akura.in.

AISRi integrates with the Garmin Health API, authorised through the Garmin Connect Developer Programme, to retrieve athlete activity and biometric data for the sole purpose of generating personalised training recommendations.

2. Data we collect from Garmin

When you connect your Garmin account to AISRi, we request access to the following data categories through the Garmin Health API:

Data categoryWhy we collect it
Heart rate (resting + during activity)Compute training load, recovery index, and readiness score
Heart rate variability (HRV)Primary recovery signal used to detect accumulated fatigue
Running pace and cadenceClassify workout intensity and compare planned vs actual effort
Activity duration and distanceCalculate acute and chronic training volume (weekly km)
Sleep data (duration, quality)Supplement HRV as a recovery indicator when available
Daily step countAssess non-exercise movement load on rest days

We request only the minimum data required for the coaching functionality. We do not access GPS route maps, personal contacts, payment data, or any Garmin data category not listed above.

3. How we use your data

Garmin data retrieved through the API is used exclusively to:

  • Calculate your daily training readiness score (0–100)
  • Assess your current injury risk level (low / moderate / high)
  • Generate your daily training recommendation (train / reduce / rest)
  • Track your adherence to training decisions over time
  • Produce analytics for your coach or for your own review

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling for marketing purposes, or any automated decision-making with legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Data sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing or commercial purposes.

Limited data sharing occurs only in these circumstances:

  • Your coach — if you are enrolled with a human coach on the platform, your readiness scores and training decisions are visible to them.
  • Infrastructure providers — we use cloud hosting services to run AISRi. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual data-processing agreements and are not permitted to use your data independently.
  • Legal requirements — if required by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain your Garmin activity data for a maximum of 24 months from the date it was synced. Aggregated, non-identifiable training metrics (e.g. weekly training load averages) may be retained for longer for research and product improvement purposes.

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing kura@akura.in. We will process your request within 30 days and confirm deletion.

You may also revoke AISRi's access to your Garmin data at any time from within Garmin Connect → Settings → Connected Apps. Revoking access stops future data collection immediately; previously collected data is retained until you request account deletion.

6. Data security

AISRi stores data on encrypted infrastructure. All data in transit is protected with TLS 1.2 or higher. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel who require it to operate the platform. We conduct regular security reviews and follow industry-standard practices for credential management and access control.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to erasure")
  • Restrict or object to certain processing
  • Receive your data in a portable format

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at kura@akura.in. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Children

AISRi is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify active users by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of AISRi after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
